"Born in the 70's, discovered music in the 80's!!"
After being trained to DJ at Sandwell Hospital Radio in the early 90's, DJ Dave took to the mobile DJ road after building his first lighting rig, controller and decks! During those early years DJ Dave developed his enthusiastic presenting style, while mixing music from the 60’s to the current dance charts of the day on “vari-speed” CD and Vinyl. Being the DJ of choice for many private parties, nightclubs, hotels, and party planners, DJT-Disco provided many happy events engaging with guests, bright colourful sound to light systems, and versatile music styles to cater for everyone at the event.
DJ Dave took a break from Mobile life in 2007 to spend time with family, with the occasional performance at the former St Matthews Family/Dove Social Club, Perry Beaches. After returning in 2016, DJT-Disco is updated to the digital world, helping the party people of Midlands celebrate once more!! With new compact and powerful DMX led lighting, laptops with USB DJ consoles for beat mixing is a far cry from the old 4 way and 8 way disco light boxes, vari-speed CD’s, and turntables from when DJT-Disco was formed.

Over the years, DJT-Disco has performed in many of the West Midlands best Venues, pubs, and hotels. Currently DJT-Disco can be found perfoming frequently at Strawberry Fields Bar Shirley, Drakes Drum, The Towers Inn, (see EVENTS page for details).

Music Choice
DJT-Disco’s music ranges the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s 90’s, 00’s, 10’s and today, including the months new releases! Requests are always welcome, including any lists of special songs the clients would like to hear during their celebration or event!
DJ-Dave works well with live music, performers and special events, with many live acts commenting on how the audience has been warmed up ready for them by DJ-Dave!
Themed nights including 80’s nights are among his personal favourite styles, along with 90’s Cub Classics, and Rock. However, DJ-Dave is only happy trying to play something for everyone during the celebration.
Lighting
Lighting systems used by DJT-Disco are configurable to accommodate venues from the large to the intimate, creating the right colourful party atmosphere for any venue and event. This is created using LED technology, DMX control, combined with some classic lighting effects, put together with the 25+ years of experience of entertainment.
The lighting shown in the video includes EVL Madspins , ADJ Stinger Stars, 30w Powerbar RGBW Led heads, a little haze, all DMX linked to give a full on sound to light disco experience.
Sound
Using high quality RCF ART series active sound system, graphic EQs, connected to high quality audio USB interfaces and controllers, DJT-Disco has sound capability from 5 to 300 people. For most venues, 2 RCF ART715 active speakers suitable for most indoor venues for up-to 120 people.
For Marquees, outdoor events and th bigger venues, Bass Bins can be used to give more depth of field to the sound. DJT-Disco has also performed at some acoustically challenging rooms, where small a re-enforcement speaker can be located elsewhere in the venue to re-enforce the sound, reducing the main volume level at the larger speakers making the whole experience more comfortable for you and your guests.
